Yuanyuan Chen

Dr. Chen Yuanyuan joined ICA Institute as a Research Fellow in June 2007. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining ICA Institute, Yuanyuan served as a research scholar in an album sales forecasting project for the music industry, a system analyst for HSBC Bank USA, and as legal counsel at Chinese Electronics and Components Import & Export Corp.

Ms Chen’s research interest is at the intersection of technology and law. She examines how technology innovation and distribution shape global competitive landscape and companies’ global sourcing business strategies. Her research has been published and presented at Information Systems Research, and conferences as Academy of Management Meeting and INFORMS. She also holds two LL. M. degrees from the Law School of Emory University (2007) and Huaqiao University in China, and a B.S. degree of International Economic Law from China.
