Public Transportation

Emory is not on the train line but it possible to get by train and one bus transfer. On weekdays it is possible to make the trip in one hour. At off times or weekends it can take up to two hours. The $1.75 fare at the airport will get you all the way to Emory.

Take the MARTA train from the airport to the Lindbergh station (the trains go in one direction from the airport). You can board any train because they all go to Lindbergh. At Lindbergh, take Bus #6 (Emory). A bus leaves appoximately every 20 minutes. Let the bus driver know you need to get off at the Emory Inn or Emory Conference Center Hotel. The Inn will be on the opposite side of the street from the bus stop. There is a traffic light at the bus stop so you can cross easily. It will take about 30 minutes to get to the Lindbergh station depending on when the train departs the airport, then another 20-25 minutes to get to the Inn after the bus leaves Lindbergh. The fare will be $1.75 total.

Another option is to take the train to Lindbergh and then take a taxi from there. The taxi fare should be about $25-$30.
