| CALL
FOR POSTERS IS NOW CLOSED |
Posters provide a forum for authors to present
their work in an informal and interactive setting. They are ideal
for presenting speculative subjects or for giving an introduction
to interesting, innovative work. Posters are intended to provide
authors and participants with the ability to connect with each other
and to engage in conversation about the work.
Topics:
Focusing on the three most populous countries
and soon to be three largest economies: India, China and America,
the aim of the conference is to convene a panel of world experts
and discussants to address a range of critically important issues
related to higher education and its role in creating innovative
societies. It is widely held that vibrant economies are driven by
innovation, and that innovation, in turn, can be taught and nurtured
in schools and colleges.
The scope of poster topics can include, but are
not limited to, the following major topics as they relate to the
educational and innovative aspects of India, China and the United
States.
- What is the evidence that innovation and ingenuity
can be taught?
- What are the most effective educational strategies
to promote these abilities?
- What is the relationship between education
for innovation and national competitiveness or economic development?
- What opportunities exist for international
cooperation or collaboration to achieve innovative societies?
