for posters submission deadline is December 15, 2006 |
Posters provide an excellent forum for authors
to present their work in an informal and interactive setting. Posters
are ideal for presenting speculative subjects or for giving an introduction
to interesting, innovative work. Posters are intended to provide
authors and participants with the ability to connect with each other
and to engage in discussions about the work. Posters are less formal,
more interactive, and may provoke argument.
Topics:
The scope of poster topics can include, but are
not limited to, the following major topics as they relate to the
educational and innovative aspects of India, China and the United
States:
- Global education for human development
- Knowledge innovation and social policy
- Science and technology education in the local context
- Impact of emerging technologies on education
- Technology, education and global competitiveness
At the Conference:
Posters will be reviewed and selected by the
Poster Committee. The authors of the selected posters will be invited
to attend the conference and present their posters in a special
area of the conference facility. Conference attendees will be encouraged
to read the posters, and to interact with the authors. Selected
posters will be published in a booklet that will be presented to
conference attendees and made available for download on the ICA
Institute after the conference.
Poster presenters must pay the registration fee and are encouraged
to actively participate in the conference.
Three poster authors will be selected
to present a ten minute talk during the conference.
If selected poster authors can not attend the
conference, the poster will not be displayed at the conference but
will be part of the printed booklet and available for download.
Submission:
Posters will be text only, in English and no more
than 600 words. Posters should not be abbreviations of published
papers.
