Dr. Earl Kellogg is the Associate Provost for International Affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a leading expert on the international dimension in universities. He has also done extensive research and teaching related to the economics of agricultural development and has been heavily involved in international project development, design and management work. He has provided senior leadership and management to institutions involved in research, technical assistance, and training related to development issues in the U.S. and developing countries.
Countries in which Dr. Kellogg has worked extensively include Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, India, Malawi, Nigeria, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Thailand, Trinidad, the Yemen Arab Republic, and Zambia. Dr. Kellogg has served as a consultant to many domestic and foreign institutions including, Agribusiness Council of Arabian Gulf University, Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, The Ford Foundation, Crawford Fund for International Agricultural Research, International Food Policy Research Institute and U.S. Agency for International Development. Dr. Kellogg serves as Chair of several national boards and commissions, including Advisory Council to the Association Liaison Office for University Cooperation in Development; Advisory Council to the Partnership to Cut Hunger in Half in Africa; and Association of International Education Administrators. Dr. Kellogg is also a member of the Board of Directors of ForChildren. Inc.
